Top Ten Accolade Bestowed by Top Human Resources Organization
Future US, a leading cutting-edge enthusiast media company, has been selected as one of the top ten "Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America,” by the Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTW) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The list, compiled by GPTW and SHRM, ranks the best 25 small companies and the best 25 medium-sized companies to work for that use smart people management strategies to develop successful organizations with highly productive and satisfied workforces. The official standings were unveiled this morning at the SHRM 58th Annual Conference & Exposition in Washington, D.C., June 25 - 28, 2006.
The conference, which is the world’s largest human resource management event, attracts more than 12,000 human resource professional attendees and more than 800 exhibitors.
The prestigious awards enter their third year with this ceremony and the selection process was rigorous. From a field of 271 participating companies, only 50 organizations were given the honor of inclusion.
The awards results were based on a randomly distributed opinion survey issued to nearly 30,000 employees by GPTW. Each company evaluated was given a score based on employees’ responses to a detailed questionnaire about the organizations’ workplace cultures. Future US, which falls into the ‘Medium Companies’ category, was honored by the distinction.
